What I've been up to...

 Holidays,Festivals, Birthdays, parties....celebrations. This is what I've been up to for the last month or so....the typical "let's just cram everything our lives at once" type o' summer.

Although, busy...I still get my "creative" time in there....Inspired by all things Summer and Water:

Final Update Before Bloss Show!

 Well, Folks....the time has come...the moment we've been waiting and preparing for the last

few months...."CREATING" and building up a bountiful inventory...

tommorrow (SAT MAY 19th) is the ATWATER GARDEN CLUBS "OUTDOOR BOUTIQUE"...

and I can't hardly wait....

no really, I can't hardly wait to have my house back!

No joke, it looks like a boutique inside right now...

as I love creating and having inspiration surround me ...I'm ready

for our pieces to find new homes.

now...and finally finished yesterday!

We promised this little guy ONE project this go around...one item he could work on

all by himself and put up for sale at this show....

 I LOVE IT! LOL.....all original artwork....he did a pretty good job for not being used to the medium

of paint.

 Mayce sanded , repainted....decorative paint and sealed himself.

 above are some "pots o carrots" Gil and I planted from seed....

painted pots and handpainted lil garden stakes...

more stakes to be sold seperately at the show.

I'm super excited for this show....number one, it's not a show I've done before ...and number two, this is OUR first show TOGETHER...Gil and I...and even our son, Mayce.I do hope for great sales and company...but no matter what, we're garanteed a beautiful day surrounded by the gorgeous grounds and gardens of Bloss House...you can't beat that!

 above/below: my newest word block-set...just finished last night....I soooHEART this one....it makes me....HAPPY.

 BELOW:  a new "Hatti" handbag....in MUSTARD.

 BELOW: Admiral Shoulder Bag....this is a large and sturdy bag....in nuetral gray.

 above/below: this fun POLKA-DOTTED piece is ALL hand-painted and sealed with a durable poly. Used for a trash or laundry bin....enclose your mess while adding a pop-of-color and whimsey to a room.

A Splash of Color

 This large wooden "orange" bowl I handpainted and sealed...

 So much fun to have around ...fill it with oranges...

 or add it to your decor for a splash of color...

both a decorative and functional piece that I really enjoyed making.

which sets behind glass in an old window frame that I painted and distressed around the edges...with a custom granny smith polka dotted matting..

this charming decor picture would be just sweet in a lil girls room...

or even entry or livingroom...

heck, where ever you'de like it in your home, it's sure to make great impression.

 below is a painting I did last year, but still have....and will be clearenced out at our next show at Bloss House. I used fabric for the lovely ruby tulips, and hand-painted the shadowing for a whimsical 3-d effect....One of my favs.
